Co-opetition: Working With Enemey


Di dunia marketing modern dikenal istilah Co-Opetition.

Pengertian kasarnya sih kurang lebih bekerja sama dengan pesaing, atau “Working with Enemy”.

Contoh:

1. Microsoft ternyata pernah punya saham yang lumayan besar (150 juta USD di Apple.

2. Samsung adalah pemasok terbesar display untuk produk- produk Apple.

3. Samsung dan Sony yang masih “bermusuhan” ternyata bekerjasama dalam sebuah joint venture untuk pembatan S-LCD pada tahun 2004.

4. LG- Philip melakukan hal yang sama dengan Samsung-Sony.

5. In the I&CT industry there is a jount-venture among Nokia, Ericsson, Motorola, and Psion called Symbian, which vision statement is “to set the standard for mobile wireless operating
systems and to enable a mass market for Wireless Information Devices.”

6. Coopetition between Apple Computer Inc. and Sony Corporation to manufacture Apple’s Powerbook computers.

7. Toyota-Daihatsu kerjasama mengembankan Avanza-Xenia.

8. An Apple® user can choose to use Microsoft Word® on his computer. A Microsoft operating system has access to iTunes®. Similarly, Apple® now uses Intel® microprocessors in many of its computers, making it a faster computer that competes with numerous PCs better.

9. Google funded Mozilla’s Firefox web browser, a rival of its Chrome, in order to limit the scope of influence of other rival browsers such as Microsoft’s Internet Explorer and Apple’s Safari.

10. Partai- partai yang notabene bermusuhan pada saat pemilu legislatif, berkoalisi pada saat pemilu presiden atau pemilukada.

Dan masih banyak contoh yang lainnya.
